Server Components
The SurfStatsLive COM+ Package
The ASP Pages that forms the web portion of the SurfStatsLive Reporting Service
requests the use of the Server Components to perform special tasks required.
These Server Components are installed in Component Services, which is
accessible from Administrative Tools in the Windows Control Panel). Component
Services is installed as part of the Windows 2000/2003 Operating System. The
SurfStatsLiveVersion<VersionNo> package in Components Services is the
package that contains the components required by the SurfStatsLive Reporting
Service. In Component Services, click Console Root – Component Services – My
Computer – COM+ Applications – SurfStatsLiveVersion<VersionNo> to view
details of the package.
If you right-click on the package and click Properties, you will see how the
package is configured. Clicking the Identity tab the following screen is revealed
