Time between Parsings
After clicking the Time between log parsings link on the Options tab the following screen is
displayed.
The ‘time between parsings’ setting determines how frequently the SurfStatsLive Merging
Service will scan log files and update the profile databases.
Depending on how busy the server is adjust this setting as required and click the Submit link.
This value can also be set from the SurfStatsLive Merge Monitor Application. Please refer to the
SurfStatsLive Setup and Administration Guide for more detail.
The maximum number of lines per profile determines the number of lines that will be parsed
on one site profile before the mergeclient will start parsing the next site profile’s log files. This
means that users will not have to wait for one huge log file to be completed before their log
